On Monday morning, I made my way straight to the library to work on my script. I was determined to finish it before heading to Paris to see Brianne for Thanksgiving. I was feeling a bit under the weather, so I grabbed a delicious bowl of chicken noodle soup at one of the cafes in the Student Union. It was exactly what I needed to refocus on my script.
I took a quick mental break in my flat to unwind a bit until making my way back to the library for some editing. It was a bit of a late night for me on that Monday.
Tuesday morning, I woke up feeling energized to submit my script. With some final edits and reviews I successfully submitted my script! It was quite a relief but despite submitting it, it still didn't feel like I was done.
I quickly did a few loads of laundry and got ready to head to Glasgow for the Mumford & Sons concert with my friends Joy and Abigail. I was very excited for a much needed mental release after the stress of these past few days.
Mumford & Sons were AMAZING! One of the best concerts I have been to. Maggie Rogers was a great opening act and it was so much fun just to sing and dance along to their music to get rid of the stress of the day. All three of us had a blast and truly enjoyed the concert. It was a very fun night. It was also super fun running to every bus and train station that night to catch our rides. Definitely made the experience much more memorial.
Still hyped up from the concert, I finished packing for my trip to Paris and eagerly climbed in my bed after a few exhausting days. I am so excited to head to Paris! It has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to see Paris and the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower. I was also excited to see some family for the Thanksgiving holiday too. After a few busy days, I was ready for a mental break and some traveling!
